How to Renew or Cancel Your IPTV Subscription

How to Renew or Cancel Your IPTV Subscription

Unlike a cable contract with an early termination fee, Layerseven IPTV plans simply run for their chosen term — 1, 3, 6, or 12 months — and stop when that term ends unless you renew. There is no automatic multi-year lock-in to cancel out of.

How renewal works

A few days before your plan expires, renew through the same channel you originally subscribed through — the pricing page or your existing contact thread. Renewing before expiration means no interruption to your channels or EPG; renewing after a lapse may require a short reactivation.

What happens if you let it lapse

If your term ends without renewal, streaming simply stops working until you reactivate — there are no penalty fees the way a cable contract might charge for cancelling mid-term. Your account details stay associated with your profile, so reactivating is usually quick.

How to cancel

Since plans are not auto-billed subscriptions by default, "cancelling" typically just means not renewing at the end of your term. If you are on a plan with recurring billing enabled, contact support before your next billing date to stop it — see the contact page for the fastest route.

Thinking about switching plan length instead?

If cost is the reason you are considering cancelling, a longer term often brings the effective monthly price down significantly — see our plan length comparison before cancelling altogether, especially if you have been happy with the service itself.
