IPTV on Samsung and LG Smart TV: Native Setup Guide

Most Samsung and LG Smart TVs from the last several years can run an IPTV player app directly, without needing a separate streaming box. Whether that is the better route than adding a Fire TV Stick depends mostly on how old the TV is and how smooth its built-in app store performs.
Installing on a Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
Open the Samsung Smart Hub, search the built-in app store for an IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters or Smart IPTV, and install it directly — no sideloading required on modern Tizen models. Once installed, enter your Layerseven activation details the same way you would on any other device. Samsung's own support pages cover app-store basics if the search doesn't return the player you're looking for.
Installing on an LG Smart TV (webOS)
LG's webOS App Store carries a similar set of IPTV player apps. Search for one from the LG Content Store home screen, install it, and log in with your Layerseven credentials. LG's support library is the right place to check if your specific model year has the App Store built in or requires a firmware update first.
When a Fire Stick is worth adding anyway
TVs older than about five years often run a slower, more limited version of their app store, or lack a good IPTV player entirely. In that case, an external Fire TV Stick plugged into an HDMI port gives you a faster, more actively updated app selection without replacing the TV. If playback stutters on either setup, our buffering fixes guide covers the checks worth running before assuming the TV itself is the bottleneck.
Which app should you actually pick?
IPTV Smarters and Smart IPTV are the two most consistently maintained options across both platforms, and either one works fine with Layerseven's Xtream-compatible login. If your TV's app store doesn't carry either one, the Fire Stick route above is the more reliable fallback rather than trying an unfamiliar third-party app.
